Cecil, I will try to make it. Surpisingly Winter is as busy as Summer for me. I guess that is a good thing, so I am not complaining! Except for the sanding joint compound part.

I have a couple of treasures for Pris' cool garden too.

Great Ed. It should be a pleasant time. The only thing on the adgenda is working on a transmission to give Peter and idea of what's inside.

Cecil, We would like to do a transmission at our Cubfest, if we can find some helpers that know more about trannys than I do. I even have a tranny that has "volunteered" to be the patient. Ed

How about I do a little seminar on Saturday. If it's a complete rebuild we'll have to get bearings etc. If it's just a teardown to show how parts work no big deal. If a rebuild there is a difference in the rear bearing on the input shaft depending on the part number on the tranny case.

Cecil, I would like to do a complete rebuild. I'll order the parts from TM and bring a washed clean tranny with us. What we learn at your Cubfest I can repeat at ours. I see another tranny waving its hand to volunteer for Cubfest Massachusetts. Ed

I volunteer the bearing and seal install kit.... but again I can't quite plan that far in advance.

Here is what a 'bare' tranny looks like down my way...

Edj, note the R2 on BW tranny case. Be sure you check yours for either an R2or an R6. As I said it makes a difference on the bearing on the input shaft. If you have any problems getting all the parts from Tom let me know as Columbia had all the parts in stock when I redid mine.

Nice tranny case BW.
