OK, I bought this 1949 on eBay after I had went over to look at it. I had previously posted pics of the planter and cultivators, but now she's all home. The tractor starts and runs real well, with no smoke. There is a weld on the block, right side, down at the pan seal below the radiator hose, just behind the serial number plate. It leaks oil. The transmission is quiet in all gears. It has a magneto, which is new to me. I didn't take any detailed pics of the tractor yet.

This is Dad starting it up.

Here is the planter, which I had posted before.

Here is the plow. Looks to have a brand new (point or share?). :-:-): :{_}:

Sickle mower. Sitting out behind the garage grown up in weeds. I did find the PTO pulley, nicely stored inside.

Here's the disk. Good enough to work it as is.

And last but not least, here's the Woods 59. All it really needs is a bath.

I was looking for another Cub to reduce the amount of implement swap I had to do. Now look what I've done! I wish I could get another one. Maybe someday.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. Its sure gonna be fun!

Kevin, I think the consensus on the planter is that its pretty much complete. I don't think it ever had any markers with it. The bottom of the fert. hopper has a lot of rust damage. I need to clean it up a little and see what's there. I plan to plant next spring so I'm gonna get into it this fall/winter. I'll pm if I have questions, thanks!

Most of this stuff is complete. Some things I can think of that I got besides what's in the pictures:

Swinging brawbar with anchor bar.
Plow depth adjuster with dogbone and eyebolt.
Rear rockshaft with rod.
Flat belt pulley.
A spare TC pump.
An old grill.
A rear PTO cover plate for a Danco mower.
A rear PTO pulley, I would guess was with that Danco.
(I figure they mowed with the Danco before they got the Woods. I didn't see anything else from the Danco.)

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Members on this site for all your valuable knowledge and help you have given to me. The gentleman I bought it from didn't know much about it (it was his father's), so it was pretty much up to me to recognize what went with the Cub. I couldn't have done it without y'all.

Thanks again,
Trent

Those Danco covers are like gold... I think Rudi is looking for one.

Enjoy your Cub... sounds like a great setup!
