Farmall Cub

Wonder how many on this board have their significant others brainwashed into giving Cub related presents. My wife, bless her heart, gave me three Farmall signs to hang on my tractor shead and a tractor umbrella. Not a bad haul! Ain't life wonderful!

Mama got me a roll-around shop cart (500 lb capacity) so's I won't have to lug those heavy parts around the shop.

If your wife doesn't buy you cub items, buy them for her. Last year for Christmas I bought my wife a parts washer. I got off the crutches last month! :lol:

Mrs. Claus brought me an air gun, sockets, 27' tie downs and digital marker lights for the tandem. I think she's a real keeper!!

I have been fighting the thought of replacing my toolbox that I've had since 78. One of those "make sure the latch is really latched" before you pick it up boxes. Ma fixed my dilema for Christmas. The wine was in the top. Now if I can figure out what wine goes with a combination wrench.........

Another question I have.
What is a resonable price for the long impliment bolts?
My local dealer took me in the back yeasterday, brand new old stock drawbars for cubs and H's hangin on the wall. I love that place.

Nice toolbox! Wine doesn't go with a combination wrench, it goes with liquid wrench!

Long implement bolts will probably cost about $4 new - give or take.

Thanks for the bolt prices.
I picked up a couple yesterday, paid more than that but my dealer is usually very good to me and I'd rather give them the money than someplace I don't know.

That one will take care of any concern about having it latched. By the time it is filled with tools, any thoughts of picking it up should be pretty well reduced to the theoretical.

Jim,
You got a point there, the new one has one more drawer than the old one had. I try to keep the box thinned to the "keeps me from walking back to the rolling tool box stuff" but the drawers seem to attract things that don't need to be there.

Had to buy this one for myself, nobody else will shell out for something this big. Not sure whether to call it a Christmas or birthday present, since my birthday was the 21st and I picked it up on the 23rd.

A few of you will know to be shocked that it has an automatic transmission too.

What is it Jim?. I aint seen one like that before, Must be a 2004. Looks like a Bowtie emblem on the grille bar but not sure. Ford-or-Chevy?.

Yeah, It's from the General's Bow Tie Division (they restyled the front end in '03). It is an '04 2500HD.
