Gasket for exhaust pipe?

Postby AP50Cub » Sat Dec 27, 2003 9:41 am

My 55 cub did not have a muffler or exhaust pipe, it has a manifold to hold a horizontal muffler and pipe. Is there supposed to be a gasket of some kind between the exhaust pipe and manifold :?: or does it butt together steel to steel :?:
Thanks
Anthony Price

No gasket,--- just butt the two together and clamp.
