steering wheel repair

Postby artc » Wed Dec 31, 2003 5:01 pm

a short time ago, there was a discussion on repairing steering wheels. JB Weld was the filler, i think, and epoxy or fiberglass resin coating.

Anyone done it and happy with the results?

I did one last summer and used fiberglass filler,J-B weld and auto body filler. I painted it with black high heat paint. So far it’s holding up.
