Guys,
Here are some pics I got of a horse drawn IH mower, Model NEW4.
Also who can identify the old truck?

EZ:

Gee that looks an awful lot like my Frost and Woods New 8 mower. Looks like the very same place I found it in too! I guess they were all pretty similar back then. Looks like a nice project to play with.

Not sure what that truck is, but looks like something I could get my teeth into -- wooden carriage work ---- mmmmmmm fun in the sun :D

I think the best person to identify the truck is Bill Blansett. I haven't seen him on this board lately but he is always on the Atis board. You also might look for a stamping on the engine.

Hey Ed,
That is one nice lookin mower! Heck, its sooo cold up there that it didnt even rust! Should make a nice project. I bet Case IH still stocks the cutter bar. When I rebuilt that 16A sicklemower for the A, a couple of years ago they still had the knifebar in stock! Heck, that mower is only 65 years old!

that truck looks like a good candidate for the "It ran when I parked it" section of the StoveBolt Page.com
