Decals for the '55

Postby Shopp'n Cubs » Sat Jan 17, 2004 9:25 pm

I noticed the '55 did not have all the decals. I have seen a few sets advertised but the ones I've seen are are for earlier models and include the side decals.

Anyone now of a set for the '55. What all should be included.

Also, are decals for the 54A blade available? I have a "hint" of one on the blade. Just enough to know where to put a new one.

Thanks
Guy

'55's didn't have the large decals on the side--they had chrome letters, one reason why some folks like '55's. When I first had my '55 Loboy, I took photos of all the decals (it is all original, and has lots of smaller decals) and posted them here. The posts have since been taken down, but if you want to see them, let me know, and I'll send 'em to you...no problem

Thanks Jeff, yes mine has the chrome letters on the side. That is why I was asking if a set is avalable for the '55 that did NOT include the big decals on the side.

I sent you an email.

Thanks

Jeff:

I am almost finished updating the Paint, Decals and Other Finish ?'s page. The decal photos you sent me are there. I will get it done sometime this week. My wife lost her uncle and godfather on Thursday morining as he was cleaning the driveway. So, once the funeral is over and all, I can get back to work on the update. Then it will be on the server.

If you are looking for the caution/warning/instructional decals for a Cub, we have had them made. They are die cut vinyl, and made from the original IH blueprints for accuracy. We have many other Cub related decals sets listed there too.

Follow this link to see some of the chassis decals sets we offer.
