Hydraulic System

Postby Ron » Mon Jan 26, 2004 9:58 pm

Sorry, but I have more questions!!

When I cycle my mower up it come up fine. But, when I select the down position it acts as if it is just bleeding down. There is not any down force, just a slow fall to the down position.
Does this sound like a clogged screen or low fluid?

Thanks,

Ron

According to the service manual you have fluid either leaking past the piston, or some of the check valves not seating. Probably has some dirt in the system. I would suggest getting a service manual for the touch control, and rebuilding it. It is not a difficult job, but cleanliness is critical. If it is hiccuping (oscillating up and down), or if it slowly drops when the engine is off, would be more indications of the same cause. May be able to find the touch control manual on Rudi's server at http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/index.html
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
