Is it just me, or is something not right about this cub. It almost looks as if it is made up from parts from different models.

John:
I am still no expert, but my eyes tell me the same thing. By any chance could the right rear final have been changed and they used a lefty? Would account for the added clearance between the fender and wheel? If so then they are well on the way to make a 2 seater
The fact that the centers are dished in doesn't account for all of the extra space does it?
Of course the draw bar is not actually stock is it

I think that by turning the dish out, and by setting the wheel out on the brackets you could get that much room, but I was looking more at the grill and hood, they didn't seem to be quite a match.

It also has a McCormick Farmall Cub emblem which I don't think is right. But it looks to be in pretty good shape and has real potential!!

It all looks normal enough to me.

After much work on the hood and dogleg panel on my 74, I'd say it's a cub. I believe the wheels have been reversed and front axels are out a little. I do see a balast resistor, so they're fighting that 6v/ 12v battle. Just a guess, but with the wheels out, they may have been mowing a hill side.

It looks OK to me also. the correct Police could make a long list but not any longer than most of the Cubs out there.

I guess it was just the way I was looking at it. Regarding the correct police, I think the 48 I've had for several years is noe on their most wanted list.
