Lurker coming out

Postby rondellh » Mon Feb 02, 2004 8:50 am

Hi all been lurking for quite some time. Thought i would join in and show my projects and hopefully help in any way I can.
Here is a pic(i hope) of my first cub a 48. My parents bought it around 1975 and I have taken it over. May be in contention for the ugly but working cub contest

Rondell,

Welcome. Nice collection of Cubs! Are you trying to comply with GW's 'one Cub per impliment' suggestion? Keep us informed as to your progress with the projects, don't let the spotlight blind you after lurking in the shadows.

Lurker Carl

Rondell. Welcome and nice pictures. I especially like the comfortable seat on your '54. Makes for nice sitting in the cold, huh?

Rondellh, glad to see you here. Firs step is to get the cars out of the garage we saw in the back ground, and the tractors in. You need to get your priorities straight. Image

Rondell,
Welcome to the group. Glad you are posting. I lurked on here a long time before I posted but knew a lot of the folks from the Farmall@Atis.net
list. I had to come out of the closet and admit that I even owned a Cub.
I didn't want to admit being one of those #*&!$ Cub Owners. :-)
I am no longer ashamed to admit I own 10 Cubs. ( I only had 3 when I joined the list.) I had more a few weeks ago but just sold 2 of my French Built Cubs. One is going to New York and the other went to Missouri.
This is one of the best groups on the Internet and in person.

Wasn't aware that a one point hitch spring tooth harrow was offered. It's neat :D

Thanks for the welcome guys. I guess i do have the bug huh.

Carl I've got plenty more implements so I'm not even close to the one cub per suggestion. (have 2 more complete sets of cultivators, another 54a blade,2 22 sickle bar mowers,a 193 one way plowand a189 two way plow, plus lots of extra parts)
John that aint my garage its the guy I bought it from. Mine is full of other projects that i need to finish or get rid of so I can get to work on the 53.

Well time to stoke up the fire and get to bed
Thanks again
Rondell
