I Spy Reno

Postby Donny M » Fri Feb 06, 2004 1:12 pm

After working on Mt Peavine in Reno, NV yesterday, I was at the bottom of the mountain and what did I spy but 2 lonely Cubs in someones yard looking in need of someone to love them. There were several implements there also. I stopped but no one was home.  This was just off of Stead Blvd. on the north side of Reno.
Does anyone know of these sad Cubs. I would love to rescue them.

May need to take another trip to Reno.

Donny,

:( My brother-in-law told me about those two Cubs about six months ago but I never followed up on them. He just moved from Reno to Boise, Idaho so I guess I lost out. He who hesitates is lost! If you're interested you better go look, cause I might just pull a BIGDOG on you! He didn't know if they were for sale or not, just happen to see them.
Always try the easiest thing first.

Brent,
You haven't lost out yet. I would really like to have 2 more Cubs but since we're moving to Texas that would mean endless trips back and forth unless Bigdog helps.   I have 3 Cubs now and am wondering just how many trips it's going to take. I was mostly interested in some of the implements the guy had. If you plan to go and take a look let me know and maybe we can meet up there. 2 guys can intimidate better than 1.

Donny:

I will be in Reno this next weekend for 3 days. If you would like me to check them out for you I would be happy to.

As a side note, I met Bronson last Friday and enjoyed talking tractors with him. I just might be catching the cub bug!

Jon-Boy,

You can e-mail me off board (Bigdog can hear for miles) I can give you directions. I am mostly interested in the implements.

Bidness is Bidness

I'm just setting things up so Bigdog can slam home the deal. I would never cut Bigdog or even you out of anything.

That's OK, I'm going to look at a local cub on Wed. It's a burn victim, but the back half is untouched. The price quoted to me was a steal, so that's right up my alley!
