tractor splitting stand

Here is the stand I made several years ago out of some scrap iron for splitting my cub. I know it's not fancy, but I am a master at getting by with what's available. When in use, I set a Walmart floor jack under it to adjust the height, and that also allows me to easily move the rear end around.

Actually ther are 3, so they can pick the best. The one on the cub was already welded when the P.O. bought it over 30 years ago. It would seem that it is probably ok, and I really would like to keep it on the cub. However , the only thing he ever did with it was to use a 42 inch Woods on smooth ground. I would worry aobut it with the snow blade attached, since the break is right through the bolt holes, and the snow blade puts a lot more stress on it than the Woods.
