If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Re: Ring set?
Bob, Give Joe Rice a call at Joe's Farmalls. (814) 226-6214 He'll sell you a good set of rings for half what NAPA gets. I just did two engines using his rings and gaskets. http://members.tripod.com/~joesfarmallparts/index.html George Willer

i used two different sets of gaskets. both, i think were in the $6X.00 range.
the Federal Mogul set was not as complete and was missing things like touch control pump gaskets. The Victor Reinz set #FS1879X (from NAPA) did (both ends!). NAPA did carry ring sets, but i don't remember what i paid. I took a look at Joe's Farmall, from Georges post. Looks like he's got a pretty good selection of commonly needed parts. i'm going to give him a try on a carb kit, muffler, and decals. 'If they're tappin', they're not burnin'
