New cub for me!!!

Postby Maritimer » Fri Feb 27, 2004 9:29 pm

BOY oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!! I just went to a gentlemans house an hour ago to get his copy of an owners manual for his 52 cub. He said i could photo copy it. He had his cub in the shop with the bottom half of the motor apart. He had all the items with it. hillers, cultivators, mower, snow blade as well as the grader blade and the ground plow. this man said he will never use it again. and said if I wanted it I could have it for$100 :o . I said SOLD Decals are still on it, all paint is very nice. I don't even have to paint it. Original reciet of sale is there also. $800.22. I will pick it up tomorrow. He said the bearings had turned so he wanted to replace them. My best deal I have ever got!!!!

This is the only stroke of good luck I have EVER EVER EVER recieved!!!

I am so excited!! :D :D :D
My dad once told me if it wasn't for bad luck......I wouldn't have any luck at all......

A hundred bucks--WOW! I just hope you can still sleep at night after that! Seriously, the Cub obviously is going to someone who will appreciate it, and I'm sure the old guy could see that, too. BD, you can't get 'em all! :D

Congratulations!

Just got back with the cub, I got the cultivators, mower, hillers, plow(ground) but not the discs. I have not got a set of discs but he said someone else wanted those, I did not push it. I'm still very very very happy :D :D . It still had the original coil and generator in it!! Oh, and a wood saw? It is a factory item. It runs off the belt pto and hooks up to the rear draw bar its pretty neat anyhow. Does anyone know where I can get a book on how to hook the cultivators up? Or by any chance know of a set of discs?

Look in Rudi's "Cub Manual" section. I know the "Cub-144 Cultivator" owner's manual is there with set up instructions........

Maritimer:

Congratulations! Man what a deal :!:

Beats the pants off of what I paid for Jethro - I paid $100.00 and got a major TLC candidate and 2 brand new rear tires! Your deal is still miles ahead! Way to go.

Thank the Lord for your blessings!

Now you have something to show off at the CubFest!!!! BTW are you coming??? 11-12 and 13 June. Calendar to follow in the next week I hope.

Check the manual server for the setting up instructions for the Cultivator - seeing as you got it here, 95% chance it is the Cub-144 - manual is there!
