Hi guys,
My 8-year old daughter and I pulled "Putt-Putt" out of the garage yesterday, started fairly nice. I did notice the wires are getting cracked and dry rotted
Where do you all get the metal cored wires from?
Thanks, David

If you don't have a Case IH dealer close, try an automotive performance shop. They will have solid core wires. You may not be able to get angled connectors from them though.

Most lawn mower parts vendors carry solid wire spark plug wire in the bulk roll. They also carry ends and boots.

Also, NAPA carries a set but you have to crimp the ends on the wire with pliers. I think it comes with straight and maybe angled connectors. TISCO also has a make it yourself kit but the NAPA wire seem better.

I use an Accel kit # 3009. They come with the plug end attached (very nice) and all the fixens to cut them to custom lengths. The only problem is they're yellow in color. I think yellow makes the tractor faster.
Don't you think Jeff M?

Donny, You bought the wire kit for the yellow Low-Boy. Accel kit# (300i0/000000000000009) is for the "RED" Cubs.

I bought the Accel kit from Kragen Auto Parts. The Accell # is 3009. Universal 8 Cyl.
You can get a kit for the 4 cyl but it's more expensive.
