I would contact the site administrator and let him/her deal with. If it is an imposter, they'll know what to do.

I went and looked at that thread. I does seem a little odd. I would just wait and see if whoever it is replies to your post. Worst thing that could happen is that he also has your SS#.
Then came Bronson

Chad,
I would sure look into it. We just got done with a round of identity fraud. Somebody got my wife's ss#, opened an account with Verison Wireless and proceeded to run up a $2800 bill plus other things. It took me at least three months to get everything straight and about a $100.00 out of my own pocket, the cost of sending certified letters to the cerdit agencys and the outfits that this *&^%$$$# person purchased goods from on phoney credit cards in my wifes name. I can't believe you can get credit based just on a ss# and my wife's name that they didn't even spell correctly.
Always try the easiest thing first.

A good place to get your identity stolen is when you are a patient in a hospital. Your social security number is on EVERYTHING. I had been home about 2 months from a 1 1/2 month hospital stay when I got a call from Sears fraud department wanting to know if I had gotten a Sears card and bought quite a bit of furniture with it on a certain date. I had been in the hospital at the time and when I informed them of that they told me not to worry, there had been a bit of problem with that happening to hospital patients and they would take care of it. I never heard any more about it from Sears, but there was an article on the St. Louis news about 2 weeks later that some hospital employees had been arrested for the same type actions. I requested a credit check from the different companies, and had them put an attempted fraud flag on my account, and have had no more problem.
