I went to my local Case/IH dealer to hunt for some parts, and, of course came away empty handed. Never the less, I sat through a sales pitch on the new Farmalls. Basically, they are New Hollands with a red hood instead of blue. It seems "they", sense a rising popularity in the old Farmalls and want to capitalize on it. Not that there's anything wrong with a New Holland, I'm sure they are good machines. But to stick a name on something already manufactured and sold as another brand......well, it just doesn't go down well with me. I guess when you own a trademarked "name", you can do with it as you wish. But I digress................

We have an old Saab convertible. I don't like the new "GM family" Saabs, particularly as I've learned that the convertible top mechanism is the same as that found on a Cavalier. Blecchhhh.

i have a New Holland 25 hp diesel, loader and woods backhoe combination. one of the so called Boomer tractors. 1000 hours now, zero problems. great little tractor
about the only negative to the tractor is that with the hydro drive you cannot split brake for grading / backblading operations. touch the brake and the tractor goes to neutral. cruise control won't hold it either. small price to pay for the speed of the hydro, though.
i would like a lever so i could move the tractor from the backhoe seat for trench work, too. but i'm getting picky

At the Tractor show last May in Sussex, we had a chance to see the brochures on the new Farmall's. Cute, but it ain't a Farmall, it is one of those NH thingys or so it appears.
Alton was telling me though that Arbings, the CNH dealer in Sussex will be bringing a couple of the "New Farmall's" to the CubFest in June if they have arrived.
Sooo, we will get a chance to see the new ones up close and personal. I would like to see the Cub equivalent - now that should be interesting!
Not that I am going to rush out an buy one now!
