Hi guys, i'm new to this site, found it the other day and have been staying up way past my bed time reading all the information. I think I found a gold mine of information here.
I have a 50 cub, I think by the numbers and information I found here on this site.
I have had my cub for about 6 years now and have been able to get all the parts I have needed for it too keep it running, but have not been able to order a new carb for it through my dealer, only the rebuilt kit.
My problem is that the lower needle vave is stripped out and it seems that I can not order just the lower bowl part for the carb. All this years I have been able to set it as best I can then use a little JB weld on the out side to hold it in place. But it has come time to replace it are repair it the right way, would any one know how to repair this? , or would it be better to get a new carb?
Again this is a really excellent place for information, and it appears that every one on it is helpful to each other.
thanks for any information in advance
