serial # platewitch plate does a 1970 cub take? the old style or the new style? i would think that it would take the new style, but i want to make sure that im right.

Probably neither of the 2 repro plates that are available, althought the second would be closer.

Check with Bob Diener, PH 304-599-4027 he will know he is the only guy that I have found that knows what is going on with Ser# plates.
