Looks like a Woods 42. If so, it is the correct color, only faded. I believe Woods calls the color burnt orange. If you don't have a local Woods dealer, you can order the paint from Carter and Gruenwald; they are linked to this page.

CB: No problem. I imagine that Bermuda Ken will probably read this thread, and maybe he can give me a hand to set up the paint chart for the woods mowers! That would be another nice addition to the server!
BTW, I really did like how you restored yours. Too bad it was required to fund other cubs - that would have been a top of the line keeper!

Ralph,
I have a Woods 42 mower that was not the burnt orange color, it was yellow. I found the original color under the spindle assembly when restoring it. The yellow color was very similar to the Federal yellow on the Cub. I also have another Woods 42 mower (probably from the first years of production) that was red. I likewise found the original color under the spindle assembly while doing repairs. This red color is quiet a bit "redder" than the IH 2150, but very much red.
The burnt orange color is one of my favorite colors on those decks. My LoBoy has a 59 inch deck that I plan to paint the burnt orange color with the guards and skids being the off white.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Thanks for the compliment on the mower.
By reversing the wheels, you do widen the distance between the rear wheels, lowering the center of gravity. If you "dish-out" the rear wheels, go ahead and widen front axle, assuming you have the adjustable front axle.
