I notice the carburtor has a leak, has never been rebuilt tractor was bought new in 1976 alohtough it was a 75 model. It is equipted with a IH Carburator, I will pick up kit from IH Dealer. I have never actually rebuilt a carburator before but there is alwas a first, and I believe with help from this board it will get done and done right.
I must tell this little story. I was foolish enough to sell my dads cub a fews years after he had past away. Worst mistake I could have made. I sold locally and new the people who bought it, it was in good hands. Luckily, one year later I spotted it along side the road with a for sale sign on it. MY mistake was quickly corrected and the cub now sits back in its old spot under the barn. I toss and tuned a many a night untill I got dad's cub home. Boy-howdy amIglad it's home.

Glad to hear you got your dad's cub back. I hear stories like yours all the time...........some are not so lucky.
Rudi just made a nice addition to his server submitted by Lurker Carl. The articles are written specifically about the IH carb. You should read all of them now.
