Postby RedNed » Sun May 09, 2004 6:49 pm

My friend just got a dvd of the old movie "The Day the Earth stood still. and in one of the shots in the movie shows a guy trying to start a cub in front of the capitol building in Washington. He was cranking and cranking. It takes those aliens to knock out a cub.

I remember seeing that movie. I think it came out in 1953 and it was in black & white as I guess most movies were back in those days.
Then came Bronson

Hey Jim....Klaatu Barada Nikto actually needs to be repeated three times for it to do any good.

I found this video tape in the Blockbusters $1. used movie blowout about ten years ago. What a classic. Now I gotta watch it again to see the Cub crankers.

Gort was played by James Arness or Matt Dillon as know to most.
