Rear axle housing question.

Postby Jeff D. N.E. Wis. » Sun May 16, 2004 8:54 am

Is it OK to use the newer axle housings with the 1 3/4" opening for the toggle brake on the older non-toggle brake assembly? This is going to be used on a 1949. I already have new brake bands with attached rods on hand. Thanks.

I've never know anyone to try it, but the only proble I can think of would be if the anchor pin would fit properly.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
