I think price for one thing. I bet George made his for less than $20.00.
I bought mine for about $50.00. I've seen regular drawbars priced north of $100.

With your drawbar reversed for use with the blade, it still mounts in the rear holes of the final drive, and prevents using the drawbar to pull a wagon or trailer, etc. The alternate drawbar mounts to the front pads of the final drives and allows leaving the drawbar in the normal position.
