I recently purchased a Cub. It is yellow/white w/squared off nose. No blackstripe on the cowl. The tractor is equipped with fast hitch, belly mounted 5 ft. mower deck(IH brand), touch control, and a front? mounted grader blade. The unit has been sitting under a shed overhang(dry), and not running for 10+ years. Purchase price was the princely sum of 300.00. This tractor will fit nicely in my collection(1947 Farmall"H", 1955 Allis WD45, 1948 Allis"C"), although it will be a little more personal,as I bought it from my uncle, who bought it new. I'm picking it up this weekend(5/29/04.will forward pictures when I get it home. Bronco

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Bronco, welcome to the board, and congratulations on the cub. If you haven't already done it, read the introduction at the top of the message index page.

Also, DoNOT under any circumstances let Big dog know where the cub is. He's too close to be safe.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I just looked in the barn and the trailer is trying to hitch itself to the truck now! :) The magnetic resonance cub locator is humming loudly. I think I can do this one by remote control!!!!!

Big Dog- It seems your reputation preceeds you! I really hate to do this to you, but you would've choked if you knew how close my uncle's Cub was to you.(Lancaster, Rt.22E) Got it home about suppertime. Wife looked at it,wrinkled up her nose and said"Do you really think it'll run?" I guess women just have no sense of true value. Squirted a mix of kerosene and oil into thecylinders for a little pre-lube& pushed by hand-motor's free. :P Bronco
