Hello All,
Well, after many months, I finally got around to drawing up and photographing my homemade three point hitch set-up. I decided to have this made by a friend after pricing out the Worksaver model.
I have emailed the document (in Word) to those of you that I remembered had asked for it. If anyone else would like to see what I did, send me an email or a private message. I'd be happy to pass it on.

Rocketman, have you tried any other implements with your hitch aside from the york rake? If you are lifting with a chain I assume you don't really get any downward pressure on the implement.

No. I only used the rake. I originally used a solid bar with a turnbuckle so I could put downward pressure and it worked great. The bad thing was the turnbuckle was galvanized and not strong enough to take it. If I wanted to use downward pressure again, I would either add concrete blocks to the top of the rake or use a 2" square tube in place of the chain. The later would be my first choice.

Hi rocket man.... I'd really like to get a copy of those drawings you used to make the 3 point. Could you please e-mail them to me? Thanks so much!

Hi there teoamaru, I hope you realize that this thread is 8 years old. Normally I keep most of these things, but after a few crashes I guess John's diagram is history. John hasn't been on in quite a while, but he does visit. Hopefully he will see this. If he does, he needs to send me another copy Oh yeah and:
