I was trying out the mower deck today, and my Cub did'nt seem to have sufficient power -when I engaged the mower and started out , the engine would bog down, then pick back up. Then I lowered the deck and tried to mow the 6-8 inch grass, it would bog and die, unless I quickly pushed in the clutch. I also noticed that my radiator appears to be leaking. Does anyone re-core these ? Help! :( Bronco

Sounds like the governor is not working. Check the linkage for excessive slop or binding. A good radiator shop may be able to re-core your radiator. New after-market radiators are available.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
