So here we are nearly ready for the Cub Fest and my digital camera died. Luckily, I know I can depend on my grandson, Bigdog and his lovely wife, Janet to take the pictures and share them.

I expect to spend a little time researching what to replace it with... time that will be better spent later. Right now, I haven't a clue.

I expect Lurker Carl has Cub Fest, NE well documented?

Hi George, sorry to hear about your camera! Those things always pick the most in-oppertune times!!
Carl took quite a few pictures, as well as Rudi, my wife, and I'm sure others as well. I don't remember Artc with a camera, but maybe him too.

I would ahve figured that anyone having that many spare cubs would also have had a spare digital camera. :D

:o George, What brand of camera was it that failed on you?. And also how many pictures can you estimate that you had taken with it.?

George, we'll be sure to bring the camera. I got a new 256 meg card for it that will hold 1000 pictures @ 640 X 480 resolution which is great for web posting. Got a couple of spare cards as well.

Bronson,

It's a Fuji DX9, that I've had for about 6 years. I suppose it's taken several thousand pictures. I've had other scary problems with it but now it is either a charger or battery problem... a sudden failure. It's old enough that I'm reluctant to spend money on it.
