Jim:

That would be a good idea. Eastern seaboard, Maine and into Ct, Md etc., might be doable. I think Chuck is in Michigan and that may be too far out of the way. If we do go stateside, we will probably head toward Texas, Arizona and California. Been too long since I have been to SoCal. Lots of good folks to visit on the way to and fro :D

Dan, Thanks for the comments, I appreciated that. I just need to be more diligent before I comment. Sometimes my enthusiasm from the questions and possible responses gets me into the proverbial corner. Bob

HR, I have two '52 cubs with belly mowers. One mower is an IH C-2 and looks like your's except for the skids and skirts. The other mower I have is a Woods.
The IH seems to do a better job of mowing. Both mowers cut like a good finish mower.

I need a cover for the rear pulley drive. I don't think there was one made for it and I'm thinking about adapting a woods shield for it.

Alden:

If you do, could you make a measured sketch for the plans and sketches section?

Thanks

Yep that's it alright and it looks like someone has made a adjustable rear right side shield. I have the rear factory shield for the rear but its rusted pretty bad but good enough to use for a pattern for a new one. If I ever get time to do something for myself. It goes alway across like the front one.
