Kub-Klipper Belly Mower

Postby Dan England » Fri Jul 02, 2004 9:20 pm

I purchased a bush-hog type belly mower recently. The ID tag list Kub-Klipper as the brand, made by Sunflower Industries of Olathe, Kansas. Is anyone familiar with the Kub-Klipper mower? Is the mower still being produced? Are manuals available? I will appreciate any information which you may provide. Thanks, Dan

Kub-Klipper Belly Mower

Dan, I live about 10 miles from Olathe. I've checked around, and Sunflower Industries is not listed, nor have I found anyone who is familiar with the company any more. No one around here seems to know what happened to them.

Artsway corp bought them out. I have bought a few parts from them for my Kub Klipper but I do not think they carry anything for them anymore.
I think the only thing you can get is belts and blades.
What model do you have? I got my copy of my manula from arts way they faxed me a copy but that was 6 years ago.
here is the link to Artsway. best thing to do is call them and see what they can do. be presistant and be nice they will help you.

Chad: I sent an e-mail asking about a manual. Will let you know if they respond. If not, may try a phone call. Thanks, Dan

Kub-Klipper Mower

Postby Dan England » Tue Jul 13, 2004 9:52 am

Chad: I contacted the Artsway company by phone. They no longer have a manual for my mower. The model number of mine is K-46. If you have the same model would you send a copy of your manual? I will reimburse you for all copying and mailing costs. Thanks, Dan

Chad: Thanks for your help. I will post a request on the two cub forums. Maybe someone who has a manual will read and respond. Thanks again. Dan

Before I had a manual for mine I just played with it and found out how it needed to be set up. and when it broke I tore it apart and got all my bearings and stuff like that through a bearing house it is not to expensive that way.
good luck
Chad
