Countershaft gear spacing

Postby hitman » Sun Jul 04, 2004 4:44 pm

When reassembling my transmisison, is it necessary to measure the spacing between the countershaft gears or will they all "fall into place" once you reassemble it. The manual has exact spacing in it between spacers and gears, etc but I have no way of measuring this. Can you help?
