PTO problem

Postby Greg » Tue Jul 06, 2004 7:00 am

Well after 2.5 yrs of work I finally had the Cub rebuilt. PTO seemed to work fine until I put it under load mowing and, of course, it jumps out of gear. I have used the info on the ATIS FAQ and many posts here and it seems my problem is the worn pin. What is a good source for a shifter arm- does IH (Case) still make them? Or do I have to hope to find a good used one.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I bought one from CaseIH about two years ago, I think it was $37.00.
