Broken head bolt on cub

Postby 50cub » Tue Jul 06, 2004 12:12 pm

Hello

This is my first posting
I have a 1950 cub I am that does not have any compression.
While removing the bolts on the head one of the long bolts in the middle row broke off flush with the top of the head. I can not get the head to come off now with the bolt still in the block.

Any ideas how to get the head and the broken bolt off

Thanks

Matt :?

yup. go to the announcements at the top ofthis post. click on Rudi's clean computer site and look for a section by George Willer. there's an article on just your problem, pictures, and repair technique.
