For a tractor that will be run intermittently (not every day), try the Champion D-21. If you will be working it every day type of thing, go with the Champion D-16.

Most people don't undestand the # on the plugs.
It is simple the higher the # the hotter the plug is.
The smaller the # the cooler it is.
If it does not use oil I would run D19.
If it uses oil I would run the D21.
The D16 just seems to be a little on the cool side for most cubs
even if you work them hard on the plows.
I'm sure some of the others have there own ideas also.
If it's been broken I did it.
If its not broken wait till I touch it.

It doesn't burn oil and I am having some problems missing and such.
It has a rebuilt engine but they put the old plug wires back on it. and it needs a carb rebuild bad. It misses and then runs fine then one day it will run fine all day. the next time I get on it I can keep it running barley.
so I am going to do a tune up and check the carb for fuel problems.
When it runs with out missing it has great power.
I will go with the D-19 to start.
Thanks
Chad
