Kub Klipper
BJ: I recently acquired a used 42" Kub Klipper mower. It came in several pieces and I am having difficulty in figuring out how it attaches to the tractor. I have discussed this with several forum members who have a Kub Klipper mowers. Perhaps some of them will respond to your post. The company which produced Kub Klipper was bought out and is no longer in production. I believe a company called Artsway bought them. I called Artsway to purchase a manual. They say they do not have any literature on the mower since their purchase was many years ago. I am very interested in knowing how your mower bolts up to the tractor, both at front and rear. Could you provide close-up pictures showing the attachments? John N has been very helpful in supplying pictures. His Kub Klipper is a different model with a different set of hardware to hang the mower. Seeing his pictures will allow me to modify mine but I would rather hook it up without modifications. Since both mowers (yours and mine) are 42" maybe you can show me how to bolt it up properly. Let me know if I might supply additional info to help you. Dan

Maybe this will help. Three pages of drawings and three of text. Go to this page then click on "Images".

Quicktime kicks in on my machine when I look at the pages (which is working for me). My quicktime happens to be 6.0.
I probably should have given this pointer in my earlier post:

Kub Kutter Mower
Jim, Jim, John, Rudi: The text and pictures from the patent office will answer my questions on how to suspend the mower beneath the tractor. It looks like a good system but one which I would never have figured out without the info from the patent office. Thanks to each of you. I have the sickle mower on now but plan to switch to the Kub Kutter soon. Thanks again. Dan

Dan,
I'm glad it answered your questions. There is a wealth of information on the patent site. I have found several interesting drawings by typing in patent numbers I have copied off the tractors or machinery. The patent number off the Cub-54A blade links to a couple drawings including one of the blade mounted with the reversed drawbar.
