my PTO is leaking its hy-tran fluid, looks like around the shaft itself. I assume there is a seal there, is it difficult to replace? Will I need special tools, and where can I get a new seal?

It's pretty straight forward to change.
CR#11223 available at NAPA.
mx, also make sure your transmission isn't over filled. There is a level plug on the left side aobut even with the gear shift and down low.

I have a 48 cub - can anyone confirm the CR seal number above? We took the seal out, and it has no numbers on it.
