Rudi, With cub #3 That I just got home I got a set of Cub 144 cultivators. I also got the Setting up instructions, Parts list for them. Do you need this manual. If so email me at Deweyizzy@AOL.COM with you're address and I will post mail it to you. You can copy it off then return it to me.
Also, Do you know where I can get the manuals for the snow blade, grader blade and the single bottom plow.

David:

While you wait for your manuals from Binder Books, you will find them on the manual server under Cub Implement Manuals. The Snow and Grader Blade are under Cub Grader Blade Manuals, and the single bottom plow is the Cub-193 Moldboard Plow Manual.

As for the Cub 144 Cultivator Manual, please compare the one on the server to yours. If it is different, then yes I really would appreciate a copy. If so, then if you would be so kind as to send a photocopy to me, I will upload it asap.

Congrats on Cub #3 as well as the implements. You are getting quite the collection :!: :D Course, as you are beginning to find out, there always is a need for another Cub and extra implements....

Rudi,

The sickle-bar mower manual I got off the server is really hard to read - I think the resolution got reset a few times or something.

I'd like to repost a copy when I get a chance - do I just forward that to you?

Rudi, On the cub 144 manual
Pages 42 and 43 are diffrent in my manual. Mine is dated 10-31-51---7 1/2 B. Mine seems to be in better condition than the one you have.

David,
From your pictures, it looks like your blade is the early version of the Cub-54. Binder may only have a reprint of the later Cub-54A manual. If so, it will still be a helpful reference but there are some differences.

Jim, My friend told me it originally had the rod with a spring on it and he modified it. He also added the piece of plate to the top for snow removal.
I have ordered the manuals on line from Binder Books.
He told me his Grand dad on his mothers side bought it new in 1949. My friend changed the bolster, but he saved the original ID plate and it was in the envelope he gave me. The serial number is 59268.
