Loaded and ready to head south thursday. Actually I didn't unload after Mo. Red Power last week. Just parked it close to the house so I could hose the liberal coating of dust off.

Geez John!

Where'd you get the huge auxiliary exhaust pipe with the transformer on top for the tractor on the right!?

Hey John,

Can't wait to see my step-cub later this week :!: Sure will be a nice reunion for Missy, Rusty, and Bingo.

We have not gotten a report from you on the MO RPRU......anything good :?:

Hey John,

Good to see your post. Looking forward to seeing you again. Hope
you had a great time last weekend.

I was feeling so bad about having to bring one of my ole yallar work
cubs I went out last week and purchased a shiny RED one.
Cub Bud and Mr. Bud [you know the Rescue Rangers]  pulled up
last Sunday afternoow and helped me re-install the Fast Hitch on
it. Yes, after a long and tiring afternoon, I did hear them say
as they jumped into Mr. Bud's shiny new Pickup, Hi-Ho Silverado
and away they disappeared down the drive in a cloud of dust.

We have to talk some about this retirement. I have always been
told that telephone folk never fully retired. They just make new
connections.

See ya soon.

I am all loaded w/ 4 Cubs and some extra stuff. I have to pick up some things from Ken Updike in the morning for JP. I will stop off at the Scout Connection in Iowa on the way down to see what's new in the IH Truck World.

I picked up some movies from the WHS Archives to view during the banquet. One of my favorites is "Romancing the Reaper".
See you guys later.
Mike

Ready to cheer from afar...

Have a blast, you guys. I'll be cheerin' in the East, can't make it that far away, especially towing a trailer full of tractors... Maybe someday.

Still be great to have a webcam runnin'... Anyone?

Allenlook - start planning now for Cubfest 2005 in central Ohio. Father's day week-end next June.

Central Ohio

OK! Got a specific town/location?

Columbus, which looks to be smack in the middle of OH, would be 590 miles, or 12 hours one way! Ouch... But still do-able.

Rudi, you in?

The town (pop. 700) is Stoutsville. It's about 25 miles south of Columbus. There will be more details forthcoming as we get this thing put together.

Long way...

Well, that's a long way, but I think I can ride the Cub that far... That's a prerequisite, right? - you have to ride the tractor to the event and back home? :D

That's to carry off any unburned fumes from the Nitrous Oxide system. Image

Bud, unfortunatley Missy doesn't look as good now as she did when I picked her up in Pope, she's been working hard for a living.

Mo. Red Power was a great show. It was combined with the local clubs fall show (Steamarama). I estimate there was 450 to 500 tractors, with 200 to 250 of them being IH red. Cubs were well represented ranging in condition from "found in fencerow" to "need sunglasses". Leons French Super cub and French Vineyard cubs were there. I also saw a California vineyard cub, which had the final drives turned forward like a lowboy, and had a single front wheel. I didn't measure them, but it appeared to be narrower than the French Vineyard cub. My flail mower and rear scoop both attracted a lot of interest. I had one of Jamie's larger posters about Cubrarama on the 48, and several people told me they plan to come to cubarama, so it looks to be a good turn out.

Allen:

Probably it will be quite a while before I can get to a CubFest that isn't called CubFest Northeast. CubFest Northeast will probably be held close to the same weekend as CubFest. The first ever was a great success, learned a lot and from what I have been told, everyone enjoyed themselves.

David, his Dad Alton and I will probably be repeating the performance again this year, hopefully with the few bugs we did have worked out!

This one might be closer for the guys in the Northeast. Hoping to have visitors from MAINE this year :!:  :!: :!: Right Jeff :?:

Or else they get high joints.
