Trust me when your out of work and have three little hungry kids to feed you will look at every option to make $$ to feed them. We never lived on crackers, my kids really ate good just as if i was working. I was planting 100 tomato plants for canning. If you took a jar of canned tomatoes, 1lb of chopmeat, 1lb of Ziti, parma cheese and some home made garlic bread you had a good meal. We lived and ate good back then and even today off the garden. Now if i can twist the wifes arm enough to get chickens, pigs and beef on the hoof for meat. I been looking at a larger place too a small farm with 5 acres. Its time to grow our own everything...and eat healthy and get rid of all the chemicals were eating from supermarket foods.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
