Sears has changed the Warranty on a lot of their tools. If you buy anything now with a lifetime warranty be sure to keep the warranty and receipt. I've seen several postings on other sites about people having trouble getting the warranties honored.

Thanks John. I got the 52161 and the 52160 sets. The city and state made an extra $1.38 on the sale. I am sure these will come in handy.

Bill:

My kids got me the starter set for Christmas and then the completer set for Father's Day. First bolt I had difficulty with - battery box bolt - what else :!:   :!: :?: , I grapped my Bolt Outs and presto bang there it went. Not a difficult extraction either. Boy they sure grip and work good!

In fact, I think I am getting my father-in-law a set for Christmas :D Unfortunately they are $29.95Cdn.... no sales EVER on these things  :?

Hi All

I have the coupons, THANKS to John. I got the 10 piece bolt out kit when I took off the old battery box a while back. That kit has 9 boltouts and a solid pin about 1/4 by 3 inchs long. I was wondering if I have all of them that are mentioned in the above post. If I have all them, I was going to use the coupons for other tools. THANKS !! Paul K. in N.H.

Paul,
I saw those other sets, but they were more expensive. One set may have been impact socket grade. The 52160 and 52161 sets included sizes from 2 to about 11, I think.

John , The outher guys must be the lucky ones my local sears store refused the coupon due the the fact it was computer printed. If you read the fine print it discloses that the coupon cannot be copied. So it looks like some of you got off easy. I went ahead and bought a complete tap and die set .I always needed on but just was too cheap to buy one. I guess the only thought about the set when I needed it in the shop. Steve

The one I used came from the same site I posted the link to. It was apparently posted by someone on therangerstation.com (Ford Ranger site). I had no trouble with mine, but my printer makes a pretty good looking printout.

Glory be for the laser printer. My sears asked no questions and said thanks for coming.
