Brake Pedal Locking Bolt

Postby Paul_NJ » Tue Oct 19, 2004 8:19 am

I stripped off the brake pedal locking bolt in the process of removing the floor plate, and now I need a replacement to get it back together. I've found IH doesn't stock them anymore, and the one OEM sells (catalog page 49), according to them, doesn't fit the Cub. Can anyone confirm that? Any suggestions where I can get one?

Thanks

T.M. Tractor Parts has them - new. Go to the parts for sale listings and look under brakes.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Paul, I made my own.

Go to Lowes and buy a grade 5 bolt and nut. Then grind the end to a point.
A lot cheaper than $7.50 and worked fine. It should look like this.
