The only tractor pics I have are of my red and gray 861. I don't think you guys want THAT on this fine board. besides, I no longer have it. It gave up it's spot for a cub. I'll get some pics on here in the not to distant future. Two rolls of film are off being developed. I also owe you guys a pick of the 'safety wired' screw on the gov. and I believe that's on one of those rolls.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Thank goodness with my guy you get case unless it is MD. Even then he has come up with NOS at times. Did youk kit come with a number of felt washers to seal around the throttle and choke shafts?

No, it only came with one washer for the throttle shaft. I really didn't think much about the content of the kit until I saw the comparison in 'Lurker's' articles. It was then that I got a bit disappointed with the kit I had and with the dealer. But she's runnin now, and better than before. I'll keep going thru all the posts and glean information for future projects and fixes. And maybe help if I can.

Glad you got her runnin ok.
As Carl has pointed out, and as I constantly emphasize to all the guys in my area - the only carb kit to get is the IH Kit. That way you get what you need for a rebuild.
On my way to Sussex the next time I go out, I am going to buy the other kit they have available from Spectre. It has seldom required parts, but sure are nice to have when you need em. I would not buy it in lieu of an IH kit, but as an addition for when you need a replacement throttle or choke shaft.
Will post part number and pics when I get it.
Yeah, and isn't this forum just the cat's meow
