I fabricated one for cub #3 out of 3/16 rod. I took the one off of cub #2 and duplicated it. Cost $1. 98 and about 20 moments time.

I noticed that rod too. I have noticed that about Ebay bidders. SO many times you can buy parts cheaper from the dealer and other types of merchandise from the retailer cheaper. Don't really make any sense, does it? You would think, since they are already on the internet, they could do some price shopping and save them some money. Then again, if they have money to burn, they don't really care what they pay for things. Myself, I am tight-wad OK actually, POOR, so I need to find a good deal when they come along.

Here's another thought. Maybe if for no other reason, just so no one else can get it. You know how people's mind work.

It's capitalism at work. If the guy can get that much, more power to him! No sense in wasting time bemoaning the price, unless you were dumb enough to pay it, right?

I, myself, made one from 3/16" rod from Lowes for a sum total of $2. Even had a foot of rod left over.
