Farmall Cub

Here is a silly one... My replacement manifold has a threaded hole just above the carb flange. Why? and I haven't yet been able to find the proper plug to fit it, maybe 1/8" NPT? (it appears to be pretty fine thread though?) Im ready to start back up soon, after a rebuild, and I want that hole plugged! What next...

That was a vacume source for milking machines in years gone bye.

Maybe a Google search for a Cub Udder~Yanker Plug will find one for you.

Parts catalog shows it as a 1/8 - 27 square head plug.

That narrows it down to two choices... straight or tapered. Since we know it is a tapered thread, it's a common 1/8" pipe plug.

The straight thread is used on common lamp components.

The plug can be removed to install the nitrous injection nozzle for more power!!!!!

Be warned......if you use nitrous, the optional wheelie bars and driver's backrest must be in place. They are listed in the attachments section of TC-37F. Also, if the cub is fitted with exhaust through the hood, make sure the rain cap on the muffler opens toward the front and not the back. The cap can be ripped from the clamp causing serious injury to the rider.

I thought you could take the plug out and connect a intake pressure gauge and check the intake manifold pressure.
