Rod bearing question

Taking the crankshaft to the machine shop tomorrow for the regrind. This crankshaft came from a stuck engine, and there is a fair bit of out of round, cross taper, and general gouging and lines.

I've miked the main and rod journals, and while the mains will be fine at a .010" undergrind, one rod journal might be close. 010" under are the only rod bearings I have found so far. Looking for suggestions in case anyone knows of a source for .020" rod inserts. Otherwise, I'll have it ground to .010 under and take a look. I'd hate to have to spray it up to get to .010" under!

Check with the machine shop, he may have a source.

Frank,

When I overhauled my engine the crank had already been turned .010.
It was then turned to .020 and I got the .020 bearings from my Case I/H dealer without any problem.

I believe the bearings are listed as part# 376 606 R11 for the .020.

Well, I looked a bit farther and this site says they have STD, .002, .010, .020, and .030, Rods, and Mains, so I shouldn't have a problem getting a set.

Thanks!
