Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator????
Purple Power and washed tonight in anticipation of the upcoming work http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=53976 and guess what start showing thru in some spots - white paint. Took some photos...will load to PhotoHost shortly. Is there a way to upload more than 5 pics at a time? Dave

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?Dave, what is the serial number? Does it fall into the Demo range?
It was great to meet you at the Tug by the way. You rode with one of the best. I'm sure a lot of Cub stories were told during the ride. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?
Thanks...I enjoyed meeting you and all the other great folks as well. It was a great opportunity to spend so much time with Albie...I probably should have recorded it all. Serial number the best I can determine [somebody painted over it real good Dave

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?I would say it is a Demo. Take a pic of every piece you find that is white for documentation.

Well, if somebody wants a "white one" to restore, speak up now...otherwise it will probably be "Cub red" [what my daughter calls IH red] Dave

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator? That's a pleasant discovery Dave.
Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?I would say its a Demo....... You can't be seriously considering painting it red? That would be a shame, in my opinion. Gotta go white. Maybe i should add it to my collection of white tractors.

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?Keep it Red Dave. Won't show oil, grease or dirt as bad.

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?Dave, I would keep it and paint it red again. That way you have a demo and after all, it was red when it left the dealer. Keep your photos as documented proof that you have a demo.

Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator?Do a carefully applied white paint job. After it is completely assembled, do a quickie layer of red, so bits of white can be seen on close inspection or anywhere the red gets chipped/worn.
Re: Could "Hercules" be a Demonstrator? If I had a good extra Cub I would trade you. Unfortunately I have no spares.
