Beautiful cars!! Those were the days when you could work on the them with simple tools and not have to take the engine apart to replace the water pump.. Such is technology. That was a pretty thing you said about your retirement. It had to sink in, though. Nice hood ornament for that '55 Chev. I had 2 of them, Chevys, that is. But they weren't as nice as your car. We were kind of rough on cars back then. My younger brother had a '66 Mustang and he would tear up a u-joint or clutch, etc. just about every weekend it seemed. Gave me a lot of practice. Those 289 CI engines overwhelmed the weight of the car. Back to your earlier pics, isn't that typical, A CHEVY ALWAYS PULLING A FORD!!
