I just took pictures of my 1955 Cub. They came out pretty well. It has a 6V electrical system and hydraulics. For implements, it has a Woods Belly Mower, Sickle mower, and plow.

cityof,

That is a real gem.
I still the '55 is a very fine looking machine.

Nicest little tractor I ever saw was George Tackaberrys' '55 Loboy, yours is a nice mate.

I agree that 55-56 styling is the sharpest. There is just something about those chrome emblems over that sharp red paint!!! That is one great looking cub, you did an excellent restoration!!!

cityofc,

Very nice 55 :!: :!: I have a 55 that doesn't look near that good. If I were you I'd take the emblems off and put them in a safe deposit box. They're worth a mint.
Again very nice job :!: 8)

looks great, guess I better get my winch oiled up. Wouldn't want it to squeak.

Shhhhh, Donny that was my plan, LOL!

Just kidding Cityofc, Donny is right however them things are worth some money. I am still looking for some that says "International-CUB" for my 55 Cub Lo-Boy. AND not having to pay a fortune for them, not only paying BIG BUCKS, they just don't surface to often. Every once in a while you'll see them run across eBay. Then always when they do, I don't have the extra money to buy em.

That tractor of yours really looks nice, what a slick looking restoration. I know you must be proud of the end results as I was with mine from when I got it to this point, just a few months ago. My wife has caught me (what she says) "admiring" it a few times. She says, I pay more attention to it than I do her. I told her there's a reason for that dear..........The Cub doesn't argue back  Now the real truth is, I look at all you guys pictures and I then have to run down to the garage and see what I did or did not do correctly.

GREAT JOB, Cityofc

Thanks for the feedback. I know I enjoy looking at other cub pictures and thought thought others would too. The tractor isn't show quality, but for a tractor I use for mowing and plowing regularly, it is nice. It has some leaks and there are some other things I still want to tackle, like electronic ignition and I think I would like to try that hydraulic angle for the plow as well. Each chrome emblem is missing a leg, but I painted them and you could never tell. For the price of the new ones, I can live with these. Maybe I should add an alarm system to it the way you guys were complementing it. :)

Hopefully I can make it to a show soon. Everytime I see another cub, I get some new ideas on something to improve or add. Thanks again.

Art,
Sometime soon we should swing by each other's place to talk about our cubs. Have you noticed that the guy who owns AA Transportation owns a couple cubs? He has them out front of his place on Route 3 every so often.

First off, Nice job!

Second, as a Cub newbie, u-m-m-m-m is that a Cubie...., I'd like to ask if the "underneath" exhaust system was available on all Cubs, and if so , are the pipes and mufflers still available. I think I'd like that arrangement for mine ( a '48 that my wife has named "Boo-Boo", because after all, Yogi's little buddy was a cub!).
