Probably Jim B. or Mike M. cna tell you better what applications it fits, but it looks accurate to me. Wish mine looked that good.

I was your first bid on that! I thought that was you. I love my mag on my 1948 cub. I want to replace the distibutor on my 1956 with a Mag. Seems to me like they are less work.
good luck
Chad

CJ, hope you don't run into the samething I did with Missy when I first got her. The mag had been replaced with a battery ignition unit and I decided to put a mag on it the night befroe the first Cubarama. After about an hour of not being able to get it to fire at the right time i realized that the battery unit had been installed due to the fact that when it was "rebuilt" the governor gear had not been timed and they told the owner the mag was bad rather than pull the front off again.

man oh man that would be no fun. I am sure that the 56 cub has the original distributor on it since I got the bill of sale and I got the tractor from the original owner.
I just like my mag if the battery is low it still runs! Do to lack of money the dist. will probably stay.
thanks John
