Where Is George Willer???

Postby Cub-Bud » Fri Nov 12, 2004 12:13 am

George's last post was Thursday, November 4....one week ago. I know he has been "under the weather" lately. Has anyone talked to him :?:

I think he will be having some more surgeries. Let's keep him in our prayers.

Cub-Bud and Jim,

I sent George a check for a part, that he sent me. I guess that was in late September and asked him to send me a message upon receiveing it.

When he didn't reply, I even tried calling him on the phone and didn't get an answer, When he got back home, he replied he said he said he would get it cash it when he got up to feeling better. I also saw his post eariler part of the month, so I assumed he was feeling somewhat better by now, I also noticed "on-line" that the check cleared my bank earlier last week, another assumption that he was feeling better.

Let's hope he's on the road to recovery to what ever might be wrong and like Jim said, "let's keep him in our prayers"

I read on another forum a few days back about George having surgery in the near future and it was the first I knew of it. I have prayed for the best for George and will be relieved to see him post again. Get well George, We are pulling for your well being. :P

I went to Mr Willer's web page and got his wife's e-mail address and e-mailed her. I hope it's OK and legal to post her reply here. I know everyone is concerned.

Hi Jim,
George is doing 'sorta' o.k. He is still having some discomfort and not very full of energy. We can only hope this will improve soon.
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.
Marilyn

So lets keep him in our prayers.

Art,

Here's an update straight from the horse's mouth. Both recent surgeries were related to unrelated suspected cancers. Both came back with good biopsy reports. During the month of October I was through nearly every possible test the fleet of doctors know, so there shouldn't be any other nasty surprises.

I've been reading all the posts and really appreciate everyone's concern. My medications are causing me trouble with typing so I don't write much. It's been nearly two months since I've been able to do anything either in the shop or outside. Getting solid on my feet soon so I can start doing things will be the best therapy.

Glad to hear from you!!!! Had been debating trying to call, but didn't know what was going on and was afraid of being a nuisance.

George,

It's great to hear your doing better and moving around some. Don't need to reply back, just take it easy, sit back and read a spell.

I am really happy to hear about your "good" reports too. Take care of yourself and we'll be seeing you real soon.

Very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hey GW. Great to hear your on your way back. And, good to read about the latest reports from you. I've missed your posts. Don't think I've missed reading one in years because of my respect for your knowledge of cubs and one I consider a genuine "expert". Keep us informed. Prayers are still forthcoming!
Ron
